Over the summer of 2016, AmeriCan Adventures started a program to encourage our group leaders to contribute their left over food items to a local organization that redistributes these nonperishable foods to those in need of assistance.
As another facet of AmeriCan Adventure’s values to help our local communities, various items of left over clothing and camping gear are collected and donated to organizations near our operations bases. Each year, hundreds of sleeping bags are donated to local programs such as The Restyle Marketplace, nearby missions and other privately funded projects.
This year at AmeriCan Adventure’s year end meetings, the company hosted a volunteer day to exercise their core values. This was the first company-wide volunteer day and involved approximately 40 office staff and leaders who participated in being cultural and environmental stewards.
We would like to inform all of our visitors, friends, business partners and suppliers of the development plans to put a gondola and gift center at the confluence of the Little Colorado and the Colorado – its on the east side of the National Park (looking right from Mather Point) for those have visited.
An adventure tour operator that has escorted thousands of clients across North America by means of hundreds of itineraries, it’s clear that national parks play a critical role in AmeriCan Adventures’ business and are revered by its employees.
